Botanical Love Club Painting Series

I had so much fun painting this series. I’ve been wanting to explore the subject matter of plants and flowers through an abstract lens for a while now, and I’m glad I did. This will be something I continue to paint and will revisit these funky blooms again and again.

This is the first time I’ve offered frames for my work, and OMG does it really make the work pop. I’m happy to have found a quality framer to make frames for my paintings.

A lot of my work I describe as playful, and this series is especially that. I think you can see my mood in each piece, and the happiness I felt when creating these paintings. A lot of it had to do with the music I was listening to while creating, which was a lot of 90’s Mariah Carey, Spice Girls, and early 2000’s R&B.
