Art can be one of the most thoughtful gifts out there. It’s my favorite gift to give and receive. It shows the person you know their taste, their style, what kind of things they’re into. It’s a gift that takes effort, it’s not a quick Amazon purchase. It takes time to find that perfect piece….making it all the more meaningful! So, to help you out, I put together a few groupings of art based on the type of person that might like them.

Before you dive into the list, here’s my advice when it comes to buying art: let the art take you down a rabbit hole. If you click on an image and the price is a little over your budget, start following the artist on social media. Sign up for their newsletter. Keep up to date with their work and you’ll be the first to know when they release prints or have sales. If you come across a piece of art that’s close to what you want to buy but not exact, save the image. Pull up your saved image on Pinterest and use the visual search feature to find work that’s similar but a little more your style. And lastly, have patience!! You could come across an image you love, but it’s sold out. You could find an artist you love but they don’t ship to where you live. Finding art you love is like a fun little treasure hunt. The more you seek it out, the more amazing work you will find.
