Mini Art Lessons at Home

What a weird time. Like most, I haven’t stopped thinking about everything that’s going on, and what a strange time it is. With everything going on I’ve tried to be appreciative of what I do have. My health! Probably the biggest thing to be grateful for. My husband, loved ones (even if I can’t hug them right now) a warm home, power, water, time to read, time to make food that takes all day, my skin looking glowy from not wearing makeup, wearing comfy clothes all day, really there’s a lot to be thankful for.

I feel lucky to have a career that encourages me to hunker down and paint, go inwards, and get something on the canvas. Spending all day in one spot as I paint, think, paint, paint, think, and paint some more. It’s not unusual for me to stay inside painting all day, and look around when I’m done wondering where the day went. Which makes this quarantine a little bit easier to handle, I have an activity to do. But my friends who have hobbies outside of the home aren’t so lucky.

find my at-home art classes on instagram

To do my small part, I’m posting free art classes you can easily do at home, on my Instagram. Just trying to make staying at home a little bit more bearable by bringing you creative projects.

easy peasy classes

Each class is super easy, and most are completed with things you can find around your home. You definitely do not have to be an artist or have any artistic experience. If you don’t catch a class live, just peep my saved stories.

Let’s get through this together and make some shit!
